Autoupgrade for Umbraco Heartcore May 24, 09:00-15:00 CEST
During the scheduled maintenance, which adds Umbraco Id to Heartcore projects, which doesn't already have Umbraco Id for Single Sign-On we will upgrade all other Heartcore projects with an update for background processing of Content. This is a pure performance update, which will make it faster and more reliable in getting Content prepared for GraphQL and Preview.

Each environment of an Umbraco Heartcore Project will be updated during the scheduled timeframe.

This is the final of two scheduled maintenance windows around enabling SSO on all Umbraco Heartcore Projects. This update will add SSO via Umbraco Id to all remaining Heartcore projects.

The update only affects the backoffice and the only difference you will notice is that the login will be centralized, so developers and editors can use the same login to log in across Umbraco Cloud (through the Portal and Umbraco Cloud as well as Umbraco Heartcore backoffices).

The first login, after the update, will prompt a migration of users who have not logged in with Umbraco Id before. This means they need to enter their username and password as well as verify their email as part of the first login. Step-by-step documentation for the first login is available in the Single-Sign-On for Umbraco Heartcore documentation: https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/Umbraco-Heartcore/sso-guide

All Umbraco Heartcore customers affected by this maintenance window will receive an email with more details. Many projects already have SSO enabled, so this scheduled maintenance will only affect a subset of customers - and they will be notified directly (the technical contact and project owner will receive an email from us).

Scheduled - All Umbraco Heartcore projects need to be registered with Umbraco Id in order to enable SSO logins. This scheduled maintenance will be the first of two - for this maintenance, we will update the configuration for each environment of an Umbraco Heartcore project, which is not already registered with Umbraco Id.

We will reach out to all customers who will be affected by this maintenance, as it will only affect a subset of all Umbraco Heartcore projects.

No downtime is expected, but each affected environment will experience a restart during the maintenance window as the configuration is applied.
