Scheduled
On Sunday, April 16 from 08:00 - 10:00 CET we will be performing maintenance of the central database of the Content Delivery Platform. The maintenance involves a migration from one database server to another in order to perform a version upgrade.

For the duration of this maintenance, we will pause data ingestion. The effect of this is that changes performed in the Umbraco Backoffice (content, schema, etc.) will not be updated in the Content Delivery Platform and during the maintenance window. Once the maintenance is completed, data ingestion will resume and all changes will be available through the APIs.

The database migration is performed in the background while the current database remains online. Once the new database is ready we will switch the API servers to use this new database, so we avoid downtime.
We expect the switch to be seamless, and we will continue to monitor the APIs once the switch is completed to ensure the health of all APIs remain as expected.

We have tested both REST and GraphQL for potential breaking changes to ensure the output is not affected. We noted that a locale change (Windows-1252 to UTF-8) in the database may affect the ordering of the content returned by the API’s where special characters will be ordered in a different way, for example “/” will now come before “-”, and “0” before “_”.

This scheduled maintenance affected: Umbraco Heartcore (Umbraco Heartcore - API, Umbraco Heartcore Services).
